Meeting called to order by A:ayor L'ilger.
Aldermen present; Beach, Brenner, Clark, Renner, Scrivner, Young.

Ordinances:
Alderman Iseach moved that bill No. 35 be placed upon its first
reading. lYiotion seconded by ?lderman Brenner. The roll was
called and the vote was as :follows: Alderman Beach - yes,
Alderman Brenner - yes, Alderman Clark - yes, Alderman Renner -
yes, Alderman Scrivner - yes, Alderman Young - yes and bill
Ido. 35 wss accordingly read. "An Ordinance desirnatina the
time and place of regular council meeting." Alderman Renner
moved that rules be suspended and that bill No. 3K be placed
upon its second reading. Seconded by Alderman Young. The roll
was called and the vote was as follows: Alderman Beach - yes,
Alderman Brenner - yes, Alderman C]a rk - yes, Alderman Renner -
yes, Alderman Scrivner -pes, Alderman Young; - yes and bill
No. ?~ was aceor~Iingly read a second time. Alderman Beach
moved that bill No. 35 be placed upon its third reading and be
passed and become known as Ordinance No. 35. Seconded by
Alderman Young. The roll was called and the vote was as follows:
Alderman Beach - yes, Alderman Brenner - yes, Alderman Clark -
yos, Alderman Renner - yes, Alderman Scrivner - yes, Alderman

Alderman Renner moved that bill Pdo. 36 be placed upon its first
reading. Seconded by Alderman Beach. The roll was called and
the vote was as follows: Alderman Beach - yes, Alderman Brenner -
yes, Alderman Clark - yes Alderman Renner - yes, Alderman
Scrivner - yes, Alderman nouns; - yes and bill Ido. 36 was
accordingly read. "An Ord. requiring; a permit to dump in the
city of Riverside." dlderman Brenner moved thr3t rules be sus-
pended and that bill PJo. 36 be placed upon its second reading.
Seconded by Alderman Beach. The roll was called and the vote

yes, Alderman Young - yes and bill No. 36 was accordingly read
a second time. Alderman Renner moved that rules be suspended
and that bill No. 36 be placed upon its third reading and be
passed and become known as Ordinance P1o. 36. Seconded by
Alderman Clark. The roll was called and the vote was as

Alderman Clark moved that bill No. 38 bs placed upon its first
reading. Seconded by Alderman Renner. The roll was called

Alderman Scrivner - yes ?1lderman Young - yes and bill No. 38
was accordingly read. '~An Ordinance amending Ord. No. 26• Bus-
iness license to be X1.00 per thousand v,ith a minimum of 2K.00,
end '10.00 for a residence, with .x,'.00 for any alterations or
remodeling; if any change or a~'.dition to the roof." Alderman
Renner moved that rules be suspended and that bill No. 38 be
placed upon its seconi reading. Seconded by Alderma n Brenner.

was approved by Iriagor Filger.
Alderman Beach moved that 'bill No. 39 be placed upon its first
reading. Seconded by Alderman Scrivner. The roll was called
and the vote was as follows: Alderman Beach - ,yes, Alderman
Brenner - yes, Alderman Clark - yes, Aldermen Renner - yes,

Alderman Scrivner moved that the city Marshall be asked to check
the Brenner gidge Trailer Court, giving; a count on spaces and
traS_lers, in the court. Seconded by Alderman Beach. The roll
was called and the vote was as follows : ?~lder~n Beach - yes,
Alderman Brenner - yes, Alderman Clark - yes, Alderran Renner -
yes Alderman Scrivner - yes, Alderman Yot.~ng - yos. Approved
by Mayor Filger.
Alderman Brenner moved that L. R. Renner be appointed as city
treasure. Seconded by Alderman Renner. The roll was called
and the vote was as follows: Alderman Beach - yes, .Alderman
Brenner - yes, Alderman Clark - yes, Alderman Renner - yes,
Alderman Scrivner - yes, Alderman Young - yes. Approved by
Mayor 'ilger.
Alderman Young moved that the city pay the added expense, as
is classified as police protection, of the liability Insurance
on the city marshall~s car. Seconded by Alderman Renner.
The roll was called and the vote was as follows: Alderman
Beach - yes, Alderman Brenner - yes, Alderman Clark - yes,
Alderman Renner - yes, Alderman Scrivner - yes, Alderman Young -
yes. Approved by t~a;~or Filgor.
Alderman Beach moved that tvtayor Filger contact the Public health
Dept. of Cameron. Seconded by Alderman Scrivner. The roll was
called and the vote v.-as as follows: Alderman Beach - yes,
Alderman Brenner - yes, Alderman Clark - yes, Alderman Renner -
yes, !alderman Scrivner - ,yes, Alderman Young - yes. Approved
by Ivayor Filger.
