Minutes of meeting?, June 3, 1952 read and approved. Old Business; Aldermen Young gives report from visit to the Parkvilla Gazette 0,'fice stating; that the Parkvilla Gazette will publish city council proceedinrzs for Riverside each week free of charge. This does not apply to ordinances in full. R~lotion by Brenner that t:he city council proceedin~*s be published in the Parkvilla Gazette. Notion seconded by Clark. Motion carried. New Business: blot ion by Young that brief form of Ord. perta in3.ng; to :Fireworks be typed and given to the P~arshall to distribute amonn the merchants of the city. Notion seconded by Brenner. notion carried. i'~otion by Beach that the clerk of the court be bonded. rilotion seconded by Runner. Motion carried. Dorsey also granting authority to contact the Gas Service Co. in regard that Riverside wish to ne?otiate with the gas company asking that this city collect 5°~ of gross receipts received .from within the city limits of Riverside. Motion seconded by Beach. Notion carried. Alderman Reiner moved that bill No. I.1 be placed upon its first readin?. Seconded by Alderman Brenner. The roll was called and the vote was as follows: Beach - yes, F3renner - yes, Clark es, Renner - ,yes, Scrivner - yes, Young - yes and bill No. ~}1 was accordingly rea d. "An Ordinance issuing payment to John Scott, the sum of X100.00 for marshall duties; Victor O. Panus, the sum of X100.00 attorney fees; 4Yard A. Dorsey, the sum of .'0200.00 attorney fees; Vernon Armer, the sum of X50.00 for marshall duties for the month of April, 1952; Vernon Rrmer, ~L~..00 reimbursement for purchase of badge; Virginia Shields, the sum of `~~10.00 for services rendered for month of April, 192, making a total ~~iisbursements of ~~1~9I~.00. Alderman Beach moved that bill No. ~.1 b© placed upon its second reading. Seconded by Alderman Brenner. The roll was called and the vote was as follows: Beach - yes, Brenner - yes, Clark yyes, Renner - yes, Scrivner - ,yes, Young - yes and bill No. hl was accordingly read a second time. Alderman Yount; moved that the rules be suspended and that bill No. 41 be placed on its third reading and be passed and become known as Ordinance No. ~}1. Seconded by Alderman Brenner. The roll was called and the vote was as follows; Beach - yes, Brenner - yes, Clark yyes, Renner - yes, Scrivner - yes, Young - yes and bill No. la.l was accordingly read a third time, declared passed and was approved by Mayor b'ilr*er.
