Councilmen present: Beach, Fsrennpr, Clark, Renner, Scrivner,
Young.

Among the many visitors present at the meetin?, D`•r. Leo Hardwick
was called upon to dive a report in regard to bus service from
Adorth +y'ood Acres. Dirs. Davis, the Gazette correspondent from
Riverside, was asked to publish in the Riverside ~:chos asking
that the people from that area contact the aldermen .from Ward
Three stating their op3.nions on the matter.
PJJr. Panes of Indian Hills Addition submits a petition of many
signers from the addition and owners of land along Vdoodland
'?oad re7uestinp the cite of !3iverside to prohibit the parking
of vehicles on Pioodland Road.
Alderman Beach moved that Dr. ~a~le's application for a build-
inm permit be held for future date. Seconded by Alderman
Brunner. Motion carried.
Alderman Younf; moved that l~r. Dorsey be cont•actud askin~* him
to furnish the city with all information pertaining to streets
and roads within the city limits as to rights, responsibility
and requirements of a fourth class city. Seconded by Alderman
Renner. Priotion carried.
New business:
Alderman Scrivner moved that bill No. lit be placed upon its
first readin;~. Seconded by Alderman Beach. The roll was called
and the vote was as follows: Beach - yes, Brenner - yes,
Clark - yes, Renner - yes, Scrivner - yes, Young; - yes. "An
ordinance pro'nibiting the use of lu~s or which may be destructive
to the service of all roads within the city limits of Riverside
maintained by the Special Road District, state, county, or the
City of Riverside." Alderman Young moved that rules be suspended
and Bill No. 1~2 be placed upon its second readir~r?. Seconded by
Alderman Beach. The roll was called and the vote was as follows:
Beach - yes, Brenner - yes Clark -pes, Renner - yes, Scrivner -
yes, Young - yes and bill Rio. l}.2 was accordins;ly read a second
time. Alderman Clark moved that rules be suspended and that
bill P1o. 1~2 be placed on its third reading and be passed and
become knows as Ordinance No. 1_}.2. Seconded by ~~ilderman Youna.
The roll was called and the vote was as follows: Beach - yes,

yes and bill No. 1~2 was accordin~*ly read a third time, declared
passed and was approved by Mayor Fiber.
Alderman Clark moved that the city purchase all naceGsary
requirements needed to hold court on proper manner. Seconded
by Alderman scrivner. Motion carried.
