Aldermen present: Beach, Brenner, Clark, Renner, Scrivner, Young. Minutes of council mAetinR of August 19, 1902 read and approved. tiisitors present: Pdrs. Arthur L. Davis. ~. Tai. Lifpht and Police Judge, ~. B. Swetnam. New Business: is. b. Light discuss with the city council the possiblities of picking; up trash within the city. The council discuss the possibilities of a city jail within the City of Riverside. The presiding mayor appoints ?lderman Renner to contact John Scott in rer*ard to building owned by Nir. Scott. Ordinances: Alderman Youn? moved that bill Iv'o. 62 be placed upon its first reading. Seconded by Alderman Brenner. The roll vans called and the vote vans as follows: Alderman Beach - yes, Alderman Brenner - ,yes, hlderman Clark - yes, Alderman Renner - yes, Alderman Scrivner - yes Alderman Young; - yes and bill Tdo. 62 was accordingly read. ~lderr!man Clark moved the?; bill i~+o. 62 be placed upon its second reading. Alderman young moved that rules be suspended and that bill No. 62 be placed upon its third reading; and be passed and become known as Ordinance No. 62. Seconded by alderman Reach. The roll was called and the vote vaas as follows: Alderman lieach - yes, Alderman Brenner.- yes, Alderman Clark - yes, Alderman Renner - yes, Alderman Scrivner - yes, Alderman Young - yes and bill No. 62 was accordingly read a third time, declared passed and was approved by the presidinry mayor, '~.
