HomeMy WebLinkAbout1997-05-27 Special!~ MINUTES SPECIAL MEETING RIVERSIDE BOARD OF ALDERMEN 4500 NW HIGH DRIVE, RIVERSIDE, MO, 64150 The Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside, Missouri, met in a special session on May 27, 1997, in the Board room at City Hall at 7:30 p.m. to review the application for a Special Use Permit in the Flood Hazard Area and Building Permit for Carter Petroleum. Those present were: Mayor Ed Rule, Aldermen Ron Super, Brenda Teters, Pam Darata, Betty Burch, Ray Beard, and George Flaws. Also present was Ann Daniels, City Administrator, and Ronald Cherry, Cherry & Associates. The applications for Special Use Permit in a Flood Hazard Area and Building Permits, presented by Cherry & Associates on behalf of Carter Petroleum, to allow for a storage building to be on their property in the Platte Valley Industrial Park, were reviewed. A motion was made by Alderman Flaws, seconded by Alderman Beard to approve the Special Use Permit in a Flood Hazard Area. The vote was as follows: Aye: Super, Teters, Darata, Burch, Beard, Flaws Nay: None The motion carried and the Special Use Permit was approved. A motion was made by Alderman Beard, seconded by Alderman Flaws, to approve the Building Permit. The vote was as follows: Aye: Teters, Darata, Burch, Beard, Flaws, Super Nay: None The motion carried and•the Building Permit was approved. Motion to adjourn to the Budget Workshop Session, was made by Alderman Beard, seconded by Alderman Super, and the meeting adjourned at 7:40 p.m. ~~~0 Ann Daniels, Acting Secretary to the Board Y
