MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF
BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI
AUGUST S, 1997
A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of tfie City of Riverside,
Missouri wse held in the City Hali in Riverside, Missouri on August S, 1997,
et 7:30 p.m.
Those present were Ed Rulw, Meyorl Aldermen Ron Supsr, Brands Tetere,
Psmele Derets, Betty 9urch, Rsy Beard and George Flaws.
Also present were Ann Deniele, City Administrator, Steve Cryetel, City
Attorney and Irene Peulhe, Secretary to the Board.
Minuteo of 7-15-97 Alderman Beard coved to approve the minutes of July
15, 1997, seconded by Alderman Flews, the vote was:

Comments of Visitors. Sim Frskee, 1900 Woodland, inquired why the City
started to build the community building white it wee
still eofttbeee bell season. It wse explained that
during the summer months ie the time for construction,
i.e. the construction of the swimming pool and
community building.
Methy Hsrrie, SOS MW Pawnee inquired if something
could be done about people perking vehicles on the
cul-de-oec, which appears to bs quite a nuieanoo. It
was explained to her that the City Code wee being
codified end should be completed in approximately 43
days and then "MO pARlCIMG" signs could be placed in
Chet arse. !Cathy Hsrrie oleo sehod if a Piro hydrant
could be placed closer to her house. This would be
checked into by the Fire Depsrtmont.

Improvement of Osage, Ann Danielo, City Administrator, read the bide on the
Woodland and Cherokee improvement of Osage, Woodland snd Cherokee Streets.

Phase II of E. H. Ann Dsniele reported that Richard Ysteo and Gsry
Young Psrk. Harden with Bucher, Willie snd Ratliff were here to
explain the nine alternates which had been given for
bidding Phsee II of E. H. Young Pent snd the coat of
each one.
Richard Ystee presented drawings snd explained the
nine alternstee. Each wss dieaueeed.

project, including tho nine alternstee, end go over

went, to cove to the City Hall on Saturdsy to talk about the

Platte Streets. Street will be opened on the 27th of August,
1997.
Municipal Court Ae- The Municipal Court Report for the wonth of July hoe
