HomeMy WebLinkAbout1996-03-28 Public HearingMIND'PSS OF PDBLIC HEARING OF BOARD OF ALDBR]O;IT CITY OF RI{1SRSIDS, NISSOyII~RI MARCH 28, 19~~i V A Public Hearing of the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside, Missouri, was held in the City Sall in Riverside, Missouri oa March 28, 1996, at 8:00 p.m. for the purpose of discussing the amendment to the Zoning Ordinance which would allow Public Schools to be a permitted use in all zoning districts. The following members were present: Mayor Betty Burch, Aldermen Brenda Teters, Kris Auat and Ray Seard. Those absent were: Aldermen Sam Aylett, Joha Marshall, and Sharon Owen. There was not a quorum. Also present were: Ana Daniels, City Administrator and Irene Pauhle, Secretary to the Board. Mayor Burch announced that this Public Hearing was being held in accordance with proper legal notice. The purpose of the meeting was to consider as amendment to the Zoning Ordinance which would allow Public Schools to be a Permitted IIse in all Zoning Districts. Mayor Burch reported that the Planning Commission had conducted its' hearing at 7:00 g.m. on this date and had reca~eaded the amendment be forwarded to the Board of Aldermen for approval. There was no opposition to the amendment. Since a quorum was not present, no action would be taken and the matter will be tabled until April 9, 1996. Alderman Beard moved that the Public Hearing adjourn, seconded by Alderman Aust, and the meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m. Secretary to the Board Y
