A special erecting of the Board of Alderacn of the City of Riverside.
Missouri xas held in the City Hall in Riverside, Missouri on 1(ay 17, 1996 at 7:30
p.a.
The following aeabers verc present: Alderacn Brenda Teters, Betty Burch,.
Ray Beard and George Flaws. Alderacn Saa Aylctt and gris Aust were absent.
lfayor Ed Rule. Ann Daniels, City Adainistrator, Irene Paulhc, Secretary to the
Board, Don Witt, City Attorney, Steve Wolcott, Attorney Representing Argosy, Joe
Uram, Chief Financial Officer for Argosy, and Attorneys Paul Boppait and Dick
Woods. represcnting.Argosy were also present.
ldayor Rulc said that all proper public notices had been published and this
was a public hearing regarding the adoption of anew Zoning Code which enforces
new aaendaents to Ordinance No. 89-15 which vas adopted by-the City of Riverside,
Missouri on February 21, 1989, relating to coaaercial vessels.
Joe Uraa, apologized for having this erecting on Friday, 1[ay 17, 1996 and
thanked everyone for being present.
Steve Wolcott eaplained that it appeared when the Argosy people verc having.
a title search conducted by Chicago Title Coapany, it appeared that they could
not find .where notice vas published for the Board of Alderaan's hearing
regarding the adoption of the new Zoning Code pertaining to coaaercial vessels.
He said this hearing is just a clarification and ratification of the Zoning Code
as amended. There have been no changes cede in the Zoning Codc.
This aattcr xas discusacd and there vas no opposition to the hearing.
Bill No.96-46 Aideraan Burch coved to place Bill No. 96-46 on its first
Aacnd Zoning reading, said Bill aacnds the Zoning Code adopted by
Code (Ord.No: Ordinance Nuaber 89-15, seconded by Aldcraan Teters, the
89-15) vote was: .
Aye.: Alderacn Teters. Burch. Beard and Flaius
Absent: Alderacn Aylctt and Aust.
Potion Carried.
Ord.96-46 Alderaan Beard coved to place Bill No. 96-46 on its second
adopted. eading, to adopt Bill No. 96-46 as Ordinance No. 96-46,

Absent: Alderacn Aylctt and Aust.

Bill No.97-47 Aldcraan Beard .coved to place Bill No. 96-47 on its first
Ratifying reading. said Bill ratifies .the issuance of a Spcc.ial Use
Special Use Perait to Missouri Gaging Coapany, seconded by Alderaan

Ord. 96-47 Aldersian Burch stowed to place Bill No. 96-47 on its' second
adopted reading to adopt Bill No. 96-47 as Ordinance No. 96-47.

Potion carried.
Alderstan Alderstan Burch said she would like Argosy to use
Burch's cosntcnts. Riverside. Missouri address on its stationery. advertising
or other places where its address is necessary.
Joe Urasi said he .will check into this and try to find out
what can be done.
