BOARD OF ALDERMEN
RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI
Tuesday, July 14, 2009
6:00 p.m.
The Board of Aldermen for the City of Riverside, Missouri, met in a special workshop session in the Board of Aldermen
Chambers at City Hall, 2950 NW Vivion Road, Riverside, Missouri, on Tuesday, July 14, 2009.
Mayor Rose called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Those in attendance were Mayor Kathy Rose, Aldermen Brad
Cope, Mike Fuller, Ron Super, Dave Hurt, Bernie Bruns, and Aaron Thatcher.
Also present were David Blackburn, City Administrator, Jane Henry, Executive Administration Assistant, John
McClelland, City Attorney, Joe Bednar, City Attorney, Deborah Polk, City Attorney, Meredith Hauck, Community
Relations Director, Mike Duffy, Community Development Director, and Donna Resz, Finance Officer.
Motion to Enter into Closed Alderman Hurt moved that the meeting go into closed session, pursuant to
Session RSMo 610.021(3) Real Estate and was seconded by Alderman Fuller. The
vote was:
Yes: Aldermen Thatcher, Cope, Fuller, Bruns, Super, and Hurt.
Motion carried.
Motion to Enter into Open Alderman Fuller moved to enter into Open Session. Alderman Thatcher
Session seconded and the vote was:
Yes: Alderman Fuller, Hurt, Super, Bruns, Cope and Thatcher.
Motion carried.
Call to Order at 7:00 p.m. Mayor Rose called the open session to order at 7:00 p.m. Answering roll call
were Aldermen Fuller, Hurt, Super, Cope, Bruns, and Thatcher.
Bill No. 2009-92 An Ordinance Attorney Deborah Polk told the Board that the Public Hearing referenced in
Ordering Assessments to be Bill No. 2009-92 will be held at their August 4, 2009, meeting and that an
Made Against Property additional ordinance will be presented at that time. Alderman Hurt moved to

Proceeds Yes: Aldermen Super, Thatcher, Cope, Fuller, Bruns and Hurl.
Motion carried.
Ordinance 2009-92 Alderman Thatcher moved to place Bill No. 2009-92 on its second reading,
Approved and upon passage of same become Ordinance No. 2009-92. The motion was
seconded by Alderman Bruns and the vote was:
Yes: Aldermen Hurt, Thatcher, Super, Cope, Fuller, and Bruns.

Motion to Enter into Closed Alderman Thatcher made a motion to enter into Closed Session pursuant to
Session RSMO 610.021 (1) Legal, RSMO 610.021(2) Real Estate and RSMO 610.021
(3) Personnel and Alderman Fuller seconded. The vote was:
Yes: Aldermen Thatcher, Cope, Fuller, Bruns, Super, and Hurt.
Motion carried.
Motion to Enter into Open
Session
Adjournment
Alderman Thatcher made a motion to enter into Open Session and Alderman
Bruns seconded. The vote was:
Yes: Aldermen Thatcher, Fuller, Bruns, Super, Cope, and Hurt.
Motion carried.
The meeting was adjourned by general consent.
