It was derided to dispense with the r^eading of the

Mayor Burch sp~~~ke with r^egar^d t c~ the Resolution
regar-•ding Bc~cmitawn Missour^i, loc. which <.:~he said the City
appr°oved can Jan~_tar^y 1E, 1'395 at a special meeting. "fhe
reason fr_m the special meeting on .Januar^y 16, 1955 was
because the City's Attor^ney representing it ire Boomtown,
namely F~restcm Wi 11 Tarns, wo~_cld not be available a•t this
meeting because he is the attorney for^ North Kansas City,
Misso~_cri and they also meet ~~n this date.
The heading of the Resolution was r^ead. It was brought
o~_ct that all referenr_es tc. revern_ce sharing was left c~~_ct of
the r^es~~~l~_ctir_~r•~, that it was i.n favor ~:f Rc~orntown gettin_y a

Steve Crystal, a•ttr_,rney, represent ing Boomtown spoke,
expressin_ri his appr•eciati~~n of the endorsement of Boomtown,
even •thc•ugh reference to reven~_re shar:inel was not incl~_cded in
the r^esalutic~n. He said that this resol~_ction will be filed
with Bor?mtown's application for^ a gaming license. He is
lacking for^ward tc~ keeping in to~_tch with the City and its
attorney.

Ron Janes, E»gineer^ far Argosy, also explained ar^ea
where the permanent r^aad wo~_rld be. This was agr^eed to
accor^ding t.::. plans pr^esented.

representing Argosy regar^ding the grading permit an the east
cif the prc~per•Gy involved. This pcrr^tir_rri was put on hold until
the Park L-~r_~ar^d h'leeting and their approval c,f cer^tain plans.

Chief Bayless said that after the flood in 1993, he was
asked tc~ work •.•n an emergency plan and send it tc ~ the state
for its appr^r_~val. He said it has now been completed and he
presented it tc~ the Mayor and Board for their approval
before sending it tr_, the State. He said that Mike Shelton
and the st~_ident from F'ark College had dome the wank.
Chief Bayless presented the h'layor^ with a copy of all the
reports ...f incidents which acc~_irr^ed at the Ar^gc~sy pr^ernises
since the begir~n:i.ng of its r_~peration in June, 1994.

Mayor Hunch said that she is still wanking with FEMA on
the David 't'heatre matter^. The City will receive the full

Mayor H~_ir^ch said that when she went to Hydro Cond~_rit to
get an easement for^ the widening of VanDeF~opulier Street
whey^e it crosses the HN Tracks, they wanted the City to
change its ~~~rdir~ances to use only c~~rr~crete pipe. This matter
was discussed. Since the Glar•~ning Convnissian is going over
the vario~_rs cmdinances, this wo~_rld be brought to its

Mayor^ Hunch said that she will get together with the
Hoard and rlet a prir~r^ity list of the streets to be improved,
and other pro~erts tc~ be done.
