A RESOLUTION
HONORING NORTHLAND CHILD CARE PROVIDERS
WHEREAS, Young children are our best hope for a future
of peace, wisdom, and beauty; and
WHEREAS, This nation and the Northland Community have no
responsibility more important than the skillful
nuturing and education of young children; and
WHEREAS, The Northland Child Care Council has been the
forefront in working cooperatively to improve
the availability, affordability, and quality of
child care services in the Northland; and
WHEREAS, The Associaiton for the Education of Young
Children recognizes the monthe of April as the
MONTH OF THE YOUNG CHILD; and
WHEREAS,
RESOLVED,
The quality child care providers for our
community promote and support the nuturing of
our young children and enalbe families to live
and work together in an effective manner; now
therefore be it
That the CITY OF RIVERSIDE recognizes the over
280 child care providers in the Northland for
their invaluable services; and be it further
RESOLVED, That citizens, community organizations, and
public agencies join in celebrating child care
providers and in recognizing the many benefits
derived from these programs for all the people.
