A resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of Riverside, Missouri, to update the City
Emergency Response Plan.
WHEREAS, the State Emergency Management Agency makes it mandatory for each
municipality to have an Emergency Operations Plan to be executed in times of general disaster,
and
WHEREAS, the City of Riverside, in conjunction with the State requirements does have
such a plan, and
WHEREAS, because of new data and procedures which apply to all municipalities in
preparation for and relief in any type of emergency or disaster affecting the lives and health of all
residents, it becomes necessary to review such an Emergency Plan,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF
ALDERMAN OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

THAT, the Mayor of the City of Riverside, Missouri, be, and he is hereby authorized and
instructed to up-date Riverside's Emergency Operations Plan as of April 16, 1996, all in
accordance with County and State Requi)remenjts~.
