A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen c,f the City
of Riverside, Missc,ur^i, was held ir, the City Hall in
Riverside, Misso~_ir^i, on Febr^~.iary 2, 199:x, at 7:3Q~ p. rn. Those
present were Wed~_ra, Teters, Karr, R~_rle and Marshall, and
Shepard absent. Mayor Birch called said rneeting to cn~^der.
It was decided to dispense with the r^eading c.f the

representing Tr^~_ick Transpor^t, Inc. at 4,01 T~_rllisc~n Road,
was pr^esent tr_. discuss the s~_ibaect of his having to pave the
par^k.ing ar^ea where he is par^k.ing his tr,_rcks, and also wanted
a B~_isiness License. A disc~_tssi~~n was had ar,d City Attor^ney
D~~n Witt expressed his opinicm that he felt this was not
grandfather^ed in as br, ~,.ight ~_rp by ?erry Hannah at a pr^i c,r
rneeting. Mr. Witt felt that the ordinance requires the
pariting ar^ea to be paved. A f~_rr^ther disc~_issi,~,r, was had and
Mr. Franks explained that this comparry was locking for a
perrnaner,t pl.ac:e for their^ business and likes this area, which

present to talk. to the Mayor' and Boar^d regar^ding the River'

in tl-re b. atom area. i-ie suggested that the City sho~.rld be in
fav~~~r^ of the River^ Fr'~~~r~t Gambling and have the matter c.r. the
ballot for' appr~_~vir~g carne at the next elect icon because he
felt this wo~_ild bring c~~_rite a bit ...f revenue to the City.
This matter^ was disc~_~ssed and City Rtt~_~r^riey Lyon Witt
s~_~ggested that it might be better' for the City to ir~ter'view
several people whc~ want to have the gambling befor^e p~_ttting
i.t ~~r~ the ballot. A f~_~r'ther~ disc~_ission was had.

reading, said Bill pr^avi.des for the Gity of River~side to
place ~~n the ballot for~ the Apr~il election whether~ c. r' nat the
citizens cif Riverside wo~_ild be in favor cif River^ F"rout

Rule moved that Bill No. 93-8 be placed on its second
reading, secc~r~ded by Mar^shall, the vote was R~_ile, Mar-•shall,
Teters, Karr and Wedua, aye. Where~_ipon, the Lull having been
made available for p~_ibl is ir~spectic~r~ pr^inr^ tr_. the
consideration of the Boar~d ...f Alder~rnen, Bill No. 93-8 was
passed.

wer~e Wedua, Teters, Karr~, R~_ile and Marshall. Mayor B~_rr^ch
presided over the remainder of the meeting.

req~_rirements. The items which r^equire r_hanges were the Rest
Roams and the drinking fo~_rntain. Also the par^king area needs
roar^king.
City Attar^riey Drn Witt was to check. the Sewer Easerner~ts
and ge•t back with the Mayor^ and Board. He said he has
checked the Engineer^s' Contract with the City and it appears
it is the Engineers' obligation to furnish the sewer
easements.
