ORDINANCE N0.2009-154
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A CONTRACT
WITH SULLIVAN PUBLICATIONS TO REVIEW AND UPDATE THE
MUNICIPAL CODE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, A5 FOLLOWS:
(1) The Mayor is hereby authorized to sign in behalf of the City the attached
contract with Sullivan Publications to review and update the Municipal Code.
(2) This ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the Board of Aldermen and Mayor of the City of

AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this 12th. day of October, 2009, by and between SULLIVAN
PUBLICATIONS, INC., party of the first part, and sometimes herein referred to as "the company", and the City of
Riverside, a municipal corporation in the State of Missouri, party of the second part, and sometimes herein referred
to as "the City".
WITNESSETH: That, inconsideration of the sums of money hereinafrer agreed to be paid to the party of the first part
by the party ofthe second part, the said SULLIVAN PUBLICATIONS, INC., party of the first part, agrees to and with
the said City of Riverside, party of the second part, and its successors and assigns, that it will do the fol]owing work
and render and perform the following services in connection with the review and update of the Municipal Code, for
the City, viz:

I. The Code will be checked against the laws of the State of Approximately 30 - 31 hours

Additionally, Sullivan Publications will perform an editorial
review of the code and advise the City of inconsistencies within
the provisions of the code.
2. Sullivan Publications will hold an editorial conference with $85.00 per hour plus travel
officials ofthe city to determine which, if any, changes the city expenses (4hr. Minimum ~/L~J
wishes to make based on 1. 2. or 3. above charge). /"
3. Sullivan Publications will prepare up to 15 copies of update $18.00 per page
pages for the code to reflect changes agreed upon by the city at Lp ~

Prior to commencing any work as described above, the company will update the code at the current rate agreed to by the
parties. Any update pages changed as a result of the review process will be reprinted Y"or final input but not charged a second
time to the city. Billing and payment will take place at the completion of each phase of the work
