NOVEMBER 27, 1995
MINUTES
Members Present: Betty Burch, Jim Davis, Diza Eskridge, Jimmy
Karr, Ron Super, Al Tunis, Jim Wedua, Tim Weeks, and Ed Young
Also Present: Richard King, Tony Curp, Dan Peak, Marty Zhirschky,
Nancy Jack, Don Witt, Dick Smith, and Ann Daniels
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Ron Super at 7:05 p.m.
Roll call was answered by all members.
A motion was made by Al Tunis, seconded by Diza Eskridge, that the
"Resolution of the Tax Increment Financing Commission of Riverside,
Missouri, expressing its recommendation to the Board of Aldermen of
Riverside, Missouri, that i~ not approve the Riverside-Quindaro
Levee redevelopment Plan" be adopted.
Roll call vote was answered as follows:

Ron Super Aye
The motion passed with a favorable majority of 8 to 1 negative.
The Resolution will be forwarded to the Board of Aldermen for their
consideration on December 5, 1995.
Diza Eskridge distributed statements of the Platte County
Commission's stand on the issue. Betty Burch expressed her
sentiments that the investment figures did not demonstrate an
adequate return on the investment per acre. She further stated she
could better support the proposal if Trillium had contributed more
financial commitment.
Jim Wedua stated he felt the City was passing up the last
opportunity it might have for funding of the levee and removal of
the problems created by the flooding.
Mayor Burch stated she was committed to making the levee a reality
and would continue to work on other sources of funding.
This recommendation will be presented to the Board of Aldermen at
their regular meeting on December 5, 1995.
A motion to adjourn was made by Jim Davis, seconded by Al Tunis,
and the meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
