AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 28 OF THE CITY OF
RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, BY ADDING SECTION L.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
RIVERSIDE, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. No person, firm or corporation. shall
hereafter use or allow to be used any dwelling or structure
of any kind as a dwelling which structure or dwelling
shall be constracted after the enactment of this ordiance
unless said structure or dwelling shall be connected to
a sanitary sewage disposal system, winch system shall meet
the requirements of the State Board of Health and such person,
firm or corporation before occupying or allowing; such structure
to be occupied as a dwelling shell furnish to the City Marshall
a certificate of approvai of the State Board of Health approv-
ing such structure as a dwelling place, or in lieu thereof shall
obtain a certificate of approval from the City building inspector
approving such structure al a dwelling place.
Section 2. That said sanitary sewage disposal system
shall and must be inspected by the building inspector before
issuing certificate of approval of such structure after the
complete system has been installed and laid out and before
any part thereof has been burned or covered over with earth,
rock, or any material.
Section 2. That the violation of the provisions of
thls ordinance by any person, firm, or corporation shalt be
punishable by fine not to eaceed One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars
and costs or or ninety (90) days imprisonment in jail., or by
both such fine and imprisonment, and each day's violation
shall be a separate offense.
