The following wswbero of the BZA were present: Cheirwsn Bill Bright, Bob Crich, Sharon Owen, Dich Gragsn end Derrel3 Biogse. Aioo present were Ann Daniels, City Adwiniotretor. Dwight Flawero, Code Enforcewent Officer and Irene Peulhe, Secretary to the BZA. The tape recording of thio westing is in the City Library. Ann Denieia, City Adwinietretor, reported Jeanne end Dwayne Hurlbert. 3003 Merriwac had applied for a variance in the zoning code to allow a woduier house to be built in lieu of the Nurlbert's president residence. All legsi notices had been duly published, end sent to elI required roeidento. Ann Daniels explained Chet the Riverside Zoning Code ie being revised and woduler houses will be allowed in residential erase, however, it will be another three to six wonthe before the revision ie cowpleted. Mr. end Mre. Nurlbert were present. Lance Lovejoy of Lovejoy Howe Seise, 3310 E. 36 Nighwsy, St. Joseph, Missouri 64307, who is furniefiing the wodular house wee also present. Roche3ie Legsard, resident, wee also present. Mrs. Jeanne Nurlbert epohe to the Zoning AdJustwent Board, explaining that they would lists to have a wodule house to replace the one they ere living in because it wee wore affordable. Dwayne Nurlbert said if they welted until the zoning code ie revised end adopted, they would have to do sows very costly repairs to their present house end then it would be torn down. Mr. Lsnce LoveJoy explained' how the house would be attached to the foundation, i. e. like woet ell houses ere. There would be poured concrete foundation, ee well ee under the house. There would probably be a crawl space of epproxiwetely three to four feet. Ne esid ell hie houses ere built according to the UBC Code or better.
