BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENT
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 9,1990
7:00 PM
Chairman Reating called the meeting to order. Those present
were Janet Reating, Gary Brenner, Jim Wedua and alternate
Frank Martin.
Bernie Madel, 3815 N.S. 72nd, Gladstone, came before the
board to request a variance at 2500 Tullison Rd, from 30
parking spots to 14 for the reason the maximum occupancy of a
new building they are building will be 13.
Gary Brenner made a motion to grant the variance because the
imposition of such a hardship is not necessary for the
preservation of the plans and that the builder has provided
for additional green area for additional future parking
should be become necessary and that the size of the planned
paved area could easily accomodate 30 cars. Jim Wedua
seconded. Gary Brenner, Janet Reating, Jim Wedua and Frank
Martin voting yes. Motion to grant variance passed.
A discussion was held regarding the meeting oP May 8, 1990,
on a building being built by John Brown and a variance being
requested for on smoke and heat vents etc. Gary Brenner made
a motion to attach a amendment to the May 8, 1990 minutes to
clarify what was voted on and that the attached document
regarding the amendment to the Board of Zoning Adjustment's
Wednesday, May 8, 1990 meeting is incorporated by reference
as though more full set forth herin. Janet Reating seconded.
Gary Brenner, Jim Wedua, Janet Reating and Frank Martin
voting yes. Motion on the amendment passes.
Gary Brenner made a motion to adjourn, Janet Beating

TO BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENT'S
The following language will clarify and supplement the
minutes of the Board of Zoning Adjustment's Wednesday, May 8,
1990 meeting in reference to the decision made regarding the
variance requested by Dan Peak of ELCA Enterprises, Inc., for a
building located at 900 Platte Valley Drive:
"The variance granted on each half of the
building located at 900 Platte Valley Drive
which exempts the owner/occupant from
installing smoke and heat vents complying
with Section 3206 of the Uniform Building
Code will only be.applicable to present and
future tenants who fall under the category
of Single-Story Group B, Division II and IV
Occupancies."
