Enclosed please find an executed "Resolution of Commitment
of Platte County to Municipalities" which was approved in
the regular Court session May 6, 1993.
As we had indicated to your municipality earlier in the 1/2
cent county-wide law enforcement sales tax information
presentations, that the Platte County Commissioners and
Sheriff Tom Thomas were committed to providing all necessary
space needed by any municipality for city commitments who do
not have a detention facility, at no cost to the
municipality.
Let this approved Resolution serve as our written commitment
to your needs for providing bed space for city commitments
should the 1/2 cent county-wide sales tax be successful June
8, 1993.
We would appreciate your support in this issue.
Sincerely,
~~~
