PARK AND RECPEATION ADVISORY BOARD OF THE CITY OF
RIVERSIDE, M0.
April 12, 1984
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Peggy DeMoas.
Minutes were read and approved.
It was reported we paid Green Hills Nursery X100.00 to plant the Trees
in the Park.
We let bids for $5,93b.30 for 4" of asphalt to Booth Paving Co. GIe will have
to wait until we hear from the grant we applied for before we can let him
start.
Da~sid Brenner suggested we recommend to the council we put up signs at the
park to establish hours at the park and also hours in the parking lot.
The suggested time for the park to be open would be from dawn to dusk and
two hours limit for parking in the parking lot anytime. Sign worded " No
Trucks" also would be posted.
Much time was spent discussing the budget for 1 4-8~~,,, ~ ~~ ~~ " ~~°<`= o
Mayor Hdmes requested we allow for fencing and~pa c prop~e~y in our next
years budget. The park board would investigate fencing the proposed park
property.
City clean up day w~il] be April 2~?th.
Ne~dt park board meeting will be May 10th.
