CI'TY' OF RI'V'ERSI'DE, MISSOURI
May 26, 1992
A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside,
Missouri, was held.in the City Hall, in the City of Riverside, Missouri on
May 26, 1992, at 7:30 p.m. Those present were Aldermen Wedua, Teters, Shepard,
Karr, Rule and Marshall. Said meeting was called to order by Mayor Burch.
Mayor Burch, received a verbal resignation from Richard Hedgecock,
streetdepartment employee, effective May 26, 1992.
Karr-moved that Bill No. 9231 be placed on its first reading said
Bill accepting the resignation of Richard Hedgecock, street department
employee be accepted, seconded by Wedua, the roll was call and Wedua,
Teters, Karr, Shepard, Rule and Marshall voted aye:
Marshall moved that Bill No. 92-31 be placed on its second reading,
seconded by Rule the vote was, Wedua, Teters, Karr, Shepard, Rule and
Marshall voted aye:-Where upon the Bill having been made available for
public inspection prior to the consideration of the Board of Aldermen,
Bi11 No. 92-31 was approved.
Mayor Burch reported to the Board of Aldermen that .Mike Purcell
had submitted to the Platte County Zoning Committee an application to
rezone a tract of land which borders to the South side of Northwood Road.
The property is currently zoned Agcultural and Purcell is asking for
a change in the zoning to PI (planned industrial). A discussion was had
in regards to annexing the property in the rezoning application and
the surrounding areas.. i. e. Ridgewood Estates, Green Hill Road Northwood
Road and 9 Hwy. Mayor Burch suggested that a meeting be called of all
the property owners in this area, to discuss the rezoning application
and the annexation. Rule made a motion to have a meeting on June 15,
1992 at 6:30 p.m. seconded by Marshall, the roll was called and Wedua,
Teters, Karr, Rule and Marshall voted yes: Shepard no.
Karr moved that the Mayor and Board of Aldermen go into exQCUtive
session in accordance with Rule 610 to discuss personnel matters.
seconded by Teters the roll was called and Wedua, Teters, Karr,
Shepard, Rule and Marshall voted yes.
Marshall moved that the Mayor and Board of Aldermen go into regular
session seconded by Karr, the roll was called and Wedua, Teters, Karr,
Shepard; Rule and Marshall voted yes.
Rule moved that Bill 92-30 be placed on its first reading said Bill
appointing Charles McKeon as Municipal Judge for a probationary period of
six (6) months at the rate of pay $700.00 per month. seconded by Marshall
the roll was called and Wedua, Teters, Karr, Shepard, Rule and Marshall
voted aye.

Wedua moved that Bill 92-30 be placed on its second reading,
seconded by Rule the vote was Wedua, Teters, Karr, Shepard, Rule and
Marshall voted aye. Where upon said Bill having been made available
for public inspection prior to the consideration of the Board of Aldermen
Bill No. 92-30 was approved.
A-.letter was read from Mid America Regional Council (MARC) requesting
that the City of Riverside participate in the annual contribution for
Comprehensi:ue Regional Planning. Activity on behalf of local goverments.
The cost to the City of Riverside is $226.00
Karr moved that Bill No. 92-32 be placed on its first reading said
Bill paying the Mid-America Regional Council $226.00 seconded by Rule
the roll was called and Wedua, Teters, Karr, Shepard, Rule and Marshall
voted ayes
Rule moved that Bill 92 32 be placed on its second reading by
Shepard the vote was Wedua, Teters, Karr, Shepard, Rule and Marshall
voted aye. Where upon said Bill having been made available for public
inspection prior to the consideration of the Board of Aldermen Bill
No. 92-32 was approved.
There being no further business to come before the Board of
Aldermen, upon motion duly made, seconded and passed, the meeting adjourned
at 9:30 p.m.
