Young Riverfront ParkBill No. 2003-58 Ordinance No. 2003-58 AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE FEES, AND ADOPTING THE POLICIES, FOR RENTAL AND OPERATION OF CERTAIN AREAS AND FACILITIES IN THE E.H. YOUNG RIVERFRONT PARK. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALllERMEN OF THE CITY OF RIVERSH)E, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The Board of Aldermen hereby adopts the reservation form attached hereto as Exhibit A for use of the Amphitheater and Large Shelter House located in the E.H. Young Riverfront Park. SECTION 2. The Board of Aldermen hereby adopts and approves the following fee schedule for use of the Amphitheater located in the E.H. Young Riverfront Park: a. Resident Rental Fee- $75.00; Non Resident Fee 5125.00 b. Security Deposit-Resident 5225.00; Non-Resident 5250.00 c. CommerciaUCorporate- Rental Fee 5300.00; Security Deposit 5250.00 SECTION 3. The Board of Aldermen hereby adopts and approves the following fee schedule for use of the Large Shelter located in the E.H.1'oung Riverfront Park: a. Resident Rental Fee- 550.00; Non-Resident Fee 5300.00 b. Security Deposit- Resident 5200.00; Non Resident 5250.00 c. CommerciaUCorporate- Rental Fee 5300.00; Security Deposit 5250.00 SECTION 4. The Board of Aldermen hereby adopts the Park Rules attached hereto as Exhibit B for implementation and operation of the E.H. Young Riverfront Park. SECTION 5. If any section, subsection, subdivision, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase in this Ordinance, or the application thereof to any circumstances, is for any reason held to be unconstitutional or invalid or ineffective by any court of competent jurisdicfion, such decision shall not affect the validity or effectiveness of the remaining portions of this Ordinance. A copy of your reservation is given to the Public Safety Department. Parking is permitted on paved lots only. No open fires permitted. No alcohol beverages permitted without prior City approval. Tents/structures may only he erected with prior approval from the City The undersigned is responsible for the event; any damages and clean-up. EXHIBIT B E.H. Young Park Rules and Regulations l . Public address systems, loud speakers and similar apparatus are prohibited in the park unless City of Riverside grants permission. 2. Refunds are not issued for shelter reservations due to inclement weather, cancellation, etc. 3. All unauthorized vehicles, commercial and private, are prohibited beyond the designated areas, thus all picnic and sports equipment, etc. must be carried to the picnic areas and. ball diamonds. 4. Applicant is responsible for leaving the facilities in a clean and presentable condition. Failure to leave facility clean will result in losing clean-up deposit. Responsible for providing trash bags. Please use receptacles for trash. 5. If the reservation is not used and not cancelled, future reservations may not be approved. 6. No alcohol is allowed in the park unless a liquor permit is obtained and. approved by the Board of Alderman. If approved, a Riverside Police officer/officers are required on property and you must provide a $ l ,000,000 Liability Insurance policy. 7. Renter must allow time for clean up and everyone must vacate the park at dusk or 9:00 p.m. 8. The two smaller shelter houses will be reserved, but no fee will be required. 9. Two picnic tables are provided at each of the smaller shelter houses, anal will seat 8 people per table. Each shelter will hold approximately 25 people with additional seating. l O.The Large Shelter House accommodates 80-100 people, with 10 picnic tables provided. 11.E.H. Young Park provides 160 parking spots on the designated asphalt parking area. Refund Policy Deposit will he refunded after the event provided damages have not occurred and the park is left in a clean and presentable condition. No Refunds No refunds will be issued upon the cancellation of the large shelter house at E.H. Young
