MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF FOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI
OCTOFER 20, 1992
R regular meeting of the Foard of Aldermen of the City
of Riverside, Missouri an October 20, 1992, at 7:30 p. m. in
the City Hall in Riverside, Missouri. Those present were
Wedua, Teters, Karr and Rule; Shepard and Marshall, absent.
Mayor Furch called said meeting to order.
It was decided to dispense with the reading of the
minutes of October 13, 1992, far the present time.
^hilip Trautner, 2424 N. Purcell, Gladstone, Ma
presented a business license for Heartland Trucking
Refinishing at 3339 NW Vivion Raad. This would be far
parking trucks only, far their overflow trucks. Mr. Troutner
said they do wash the trucks but only use clear water. In
the course of discussion it was brought out that Heartland
Trucking would be moving to Kansas around the first of the
year. It appeared that all of the area is not an hard
surface and this would have to be resurfaced if he wanted to
continue to park the trucks. Mr. Trautner said that there is
a hard surface area in the back and he could park the trucks
there. This was approved subject to the payment of the fee.
The Fusiness License far Northwestern Steak & Seafood
was tabled.
It was announced that a new account has been set up with
the bank and that is "City of Riverside, State of Missouri
Use Tax Account", an interest bearing account.
Karr moved that Fill No. 92-60 being Fill providing far
the payment of certain indebtedness as .listed therein be
placed on its first reading, seconded by Wedua, the vote was
Wedua, Teters, Karr, and Rule aye; Shepard and Marshall
absent.
Karr moved that bill No.92-60 be placed an its second
reading, seconded by Wedua, the vote was Wedua, Teters, Karr
and Rule aye, Shepard and Marshall absent. Whereupon, the
Fill having been made available far public inspection prior
to the consideration of the Foard of Aldermen, Fill Na. 92-60
was passed.
Mayor Furch brought out that Agreement far the sewer far
Ridgewood Estates is not completed.
Wedua said he is working on the 1@-year plan for the
streets.
Rule brought up the matter of the dumpsters not having

someone there to check whether the people are residents of
Riverside and also that the area should be raped off during
the no-dumping time.
Rule said that he would like Fred Welkin to check out
the construction on building of a residenence or garage and
also fences, when the person first starts to build, if this
is passible.
The Minutes of October 13, 1992, were read and approved
as corrected.
Mayor Burch said that the next meeting will be on
election day and that we will meet in the Clerks office. We
will do priority business only.
Concerning the City Manager, Bob Rayless said that the
Public Safety Department would like to have some in-put.
There will be three separate accounts for the Sewer
Rro~ect, i. e. City of Riverside Sewer Operation and
Maintenance Account, City of Riverside Sewer Debt Service
Account and City of Riverside Sewerage System Surplus
Account.
There being no further business to came before the
Board, upon motion duly made, seconded and passed, meeting
adjourned at 10:20 p. rn. ~j~
