MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI NOVEMBER 3, 1992 A regular meeting of the Berard of Aldermen of the City of Riverside, Missouri was held on November 3, 1992, at 7:30 p. m. in the City Clerk's Office in the City Hall in Riverside, Missouri. Those present were Aldermen Wedua, Teters, Karr, and Ruleq Shepard and Marshall, absent. Mayor Burch called said meeting to order^. It was decided to dispense with the reading of the minutes of October 20, 1992 far the present time. Al Manning, Route #1, Bax 106, Kidder, Missouri 64649, presented Business License Application for selling Christmas Trees at NW Platte Road. This was approved subject to the payment of the fee. Mayor Burch reminded Mr. Manning to clean up the area where he is doing business and he said he would der so. Ter^ri Bigham and Charles Bigham, doing business at 114 NW Parkway, d/b/a Monterey Jacks Deli at same address were present to find out if they could have a liquor license to sell beer at their deli, since they had completed a Liquor License Application. The Mayor and Berard explained to the Bighams that there were na liquor license available and that their application would be placed in file. Terri Bigham also informed the Mayor and Berard that the Health Department does not issue a report as they had been doing pricer to this date. However, they will came and inspect the business. Gary Riedl, 5204 NW 58th Ter., Kansas City, Ma, 64151, presented a Business License Application for propulsion Controls Co. at 2903 NW Platte Raced. This is far Overhaul of aircraft accessories, mostly small components for het engines Na ventilation needed as the cleaning fluid is always recycled. He also has a Missouri Sales Tax Number. Jahn Marshall present at 7:50 p. m. The Business License far Prapulsian Controls Ca. was approved subject to the payment of the fee. Michael Darker, 2202 NW Vivian Ma. Missouri, presented a Special Use License Application for B and M Conoco Rule moved that the City approve for B and M Conoco, seconded by Ka Wedua, Teters, Marshall and Rule, yes, Road, Northmoare, Permit and Business at NW Gateway. the Special Use Permit rr, the vote was Karr, Shepard absent. t ti • ,~ .. Larry and Leann Edgar, 4720 NW High Drive were present with regar^d to putting in a driveway to the garage which was built at the residence. We requested an extension of time in which to build the driveway and asked if he could build it from South Drive, rather than a continuation from his present drive off of High Drive. This would be checked inter. Teters moved that the Edgars have an extension of six mr3nths in which to build the driveway to the gar^age at 4720 NW High Drive, seconded by Marshall, the vote was Teters, Karr^, Rule, Marshall and Wedua, yes; Shepard, absent. Frances Nartan, 3521 NW Hermosa, was present to see if the City could help in rernoving that portion of the garage which was built at the said location. She said that she is chart an money at the present tune and that her sewer has to be put in and it is quite expensive. This matter was discussed and it was agreed to give Mrs. Norton mare time in which to remove the portion of the garage and to put in her sewer. The Hoard of Alderrnen authorized Mrs. Norton an extension of six months, or until May, 1993, to remove the portion of garage built and hook up her sewer. The sewer, has nothing to do with the removal of the portion of garage. Marshall moved that the Hoard approve the overtirne for the Public Safety Department for the month of October, 1992, seconded by Teters, the vote was Karr, Teters, Wedua, Rule and Marshall, yes; Shepard absent. Mayor Burch brought up the rnatter that Public Safety Officer Jim Baughman would be off duty after surgery and did not know how long this would be. This matter was discussed. There being no further business to come before the Hoard, motion duly made, seconded and passed, meeting ad~aurned at 8:50 p. m. ---- _ ~ i'
