WHEREAS. the Cite Code includes provisions which proscribe certain prohibited acu related to the keeping of animals. WHEREAS. the Board of Aldermen and the Cite wishes to protect the public health. safety and welfare of its citizens by adopting City Code provisions similar to that provided in the state statute described above. NOW', THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED. Be the Board of Alderme^ of the City of Riverside, Missouri, as follows: Section 1 . ~fhe ytunicipal Code of the City of Riverside. Chapter ?0~. Section '0.090 is herehy amended and shall read as t~~llows: SECTION 205.090: PROHIBITED ACTS \. !'rnhihi~ec/.~c/.c. The following acts are hereby declared to be prohibited, and it shall be unlawful for any person ro engage in or allow an animal owned by or possessed b~~ such person to engage in the following activ°ities: 1. Keep a vicious animal: ~. :Allow any animal to leave the owner's premises unless said animal is under restraint as defined by Section ?0.010: 3. :~llo~e anv animal to: a. Continually bark. howl. yelp or make laud and raucous noises: or b. Trespass upo^ the private pmpert}~ of another and danrige ~ e~=etation: or c.
