BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI
FEBRUARY 14, 1989
A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of City of Riverside,
Missouri was held in the City Hall in Riverside, Missouri on February 14,
1989, at 7:30 p.m. The roll was called and Aldermen Burch, Kuhlman, Karr,
Wedua and Shepard were present and Mayor Betty Burch called said meeting to
order.
Mr. Zimmerman of E. T. Archer was present to explain the different
options the City can choose to finance the sewers and the costs to the
residents and businesses in Riverside, copy of which is attached hereto.
The survey showed that in Riverside, there are 937 apartments, 400
single family houses. 42 commercial businesses and 36 industrial businessesp'~`
It appeared that there was no way the sewer project could be put in without
assessing the apartments for some of the costs.
Mr. Zimmerman said that before anyone can go further with the sewer
project in the City, it will be necessary to get a aerophotogametry of the
City. This would be aerial photos made to scale. The cost would be
$15,000.00.
Karr moved that the City authorize an aerophotogametry of the City to
be made at the cost of $15,000.00, seconded by Wedua; the vote was as
follows: Burch, Kuhlman, Karr, Wedua and Shepard voted aye.
Zep's Manufacturing's application for a fence was discussed and it was
the consensus of the Mayor and Board that it would be in order to install
the "Privacy Decorator Slattery Fence" per the brochures presented and the
color of tan or beige would be appropriate.
There being no further business to come before the Board, upon motion
duly made, seconded and passed, meeting adjourned at 9:00 p.m.
