HomeMy WebLinkAbout1989-02-14MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI FEBRUARY 14, 1989 A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of City of Riverside, Missouri was held in the City Hall in Riverside, Missouri on February 14, 1989, at 7:30 p.m. The roll was called and Aldermen Burch, Kuhlman, Karr, Wedua and Shepard were present and Mayor Betty Burch called said meeting to order. Mr. Zimmerman of E. T. Archer was present to explain the different options the City can choose to finance the sewers and the costs to the residents and businesses in Riverside, copy of which is attached hereto. The survey showed that in Riverside, there are 937 apartments, 400 single family houses. 42 commercial businesses and 36 industrial businessesp'~` It appeared that there was no way the sewer project could be put in without assessing the apartments for some of the costs. Mr. Zimmerman said that before anyone can go further with the sewer project in the City, it will be necessary to get a aerophotogametry of the City. This would be aerial photos made to scale. The cost would be $15,000.00. Karr moved that the City authorize an aerophotogametry of the City to be made at the cost of $15,000.00, seconded by Wedua; the vote was as follows: Burch, Kuhlman, Karr, Wedua and Shepard voted aye. Zep's Manufacturing's application for a fence was discussed and it was the consensus of the Mayor and Board that it would be in order to install the "Privacy Decorator Slattery Fence" per the brochures presented and the color of tan or beige would be appropriate. There being no further business to come before the Board, upon motion duly made, seconded and passed, meeting adjourned at 9:00 p.m. ~/2~
