Harold Glenn, 3523 N.E. 49th Terrace, K. C., MO. 64119,
presented special use permit to sell used cars at 2701 N.W.
Vivion Street. This matter was discussed. It appeared that
this area where the cars were parked to be sold was not black
topped or curbed as the ordinance required. It also appeared
that there were too many marked spaces for cars to be parked in
the front of the building. Mr. Glenn said that they could
remark the plot plan and also the curbing and asphalting was
not a problem. (Karr present this portion of meeting). It was
brought out that the Planning Commission had discussed this
matter further and they decided that the lot was not
blacktopped and they wanted to withdraw their approval because
of it not being black topped and also it appeared there were
too many parking places in front and it was not curbed all
around the lot. A poll of the board was taken and it was
decided that the Special Use Permit should go back to the
Planning Commission.
