AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN AN AMENDMENT TO THE
CONTRACT WITH BUCHER, WILLIS, & RATLIFF, INC. TO PROVIDE FOR A
MONTHLY FEE OF $1,400 TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL INSPECTION, SITE
VISITS, AND BI-WEEKLY CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS MEETING FOR PHASE II OF
THE E.H. YOUNG RIVERFRONT PARK.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City has entered into a Contract with
Bucher, Willis, & Ratliff, Inc. to provide
engineering design services for the E.H.
Young Riverfront Park in the amount of
$166,172.00.
SECTION 2. Due to numerous problems beyond the control
of the City, the Engineer, or the Contractors,
additional planning, bi-weekly construction
meetings, and site inspections will be
required.
SECTION 3. To offset the extra hours involved in
completing the project, the contract would be
amended at a rate of $1,400 per month until
the project is completed.
