AN ORDINANCE RATIFYING THE CERTIFICATION OF THE ELECTION HELD ON APRIL 7, 1998.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the election authority of Platte County, Missouri, has issued a certificate of election
declaring the results of the 1998 Riverside General Municipal Election to be as follows:
MAYOR:
Ed Rule 251 votes
Write-in votes 22 votes
ALDERMAN WARD I:
George Flaws 75 votes
Bill Bright 35 votes
Write-in votes 0 votes
ALDERMAN WARD II:
Brenda Teters 53 votes
Larry Reece 24 votes
Write-in votes 0 votes
ALDERMAN WARD III:
Betty Burch 95 votes
Karen Gordy 49 votes
Write-In Votes 0 votes
SECTION 2. The election authority has issued a certificate of election and duly elected officials of the City do
ratify the election of said officials to the respective offices.
