BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI
FEBRUARY 23, 1988
A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the City of
Riverside, Missouri was held in the City Hall in Riverside, Missouri on
February 23, 1988 at 7:30 p.m. On a roll call, Aldermen Karr, Burch, Best,
Peeler, Wedua and Shepard were present and Mayor Pro Tem Peeler called said
meeting to order.
It was decided to delay the reading of the Minutes of February 16,
1988 for the present time.
Burch said that he had talked to E. T. Archer concerning the
letter agreement regarding E. T. Archer up-dating the City Sewer's System
and they have deleted the part which the City did not want in and changed
another portion of the letter. This would have to be reviewed before
accepting same.
City Clerk Betty Burch said that she has found a computer table
which would fit their needs and the cost is 3ust over $100.00. This
appeared to be in order.
Chief Fred McDaniel requested permission to purchase 6 pair of
pants and 7 coats for the Fire Department, the pants would cost $160.00 each
~ and the coats cost $221.00 each for a total cost of $2507.00.
Karr moved that the City purchase 6 pairs of pants and 7 coats for
the Fire Department at a total cost of $2507.00, seconded by Shepard, the
roll was called and votes were as follows: Karr, Burch, Best, Wedua and
Shepard voted aye.
Karr moved that Mayor Pro Tem Peeler and the Board go into
executive session to discuss personnel matters, seconded by Burch, the roll
was called and votes were as follows: Karr, Burch, Best, Wedua and Shepard
voted aye.
The meeting reconvened. The roll was called and Karr, Burch,
Best, Wedua and Shepard were present and Mayor Pro Tem Peeler presided over
the remainder of the meeting.
There being no further business to come before the Board, upon
Motion, duly made, seconded and passed, meeting adjourned at i~la p.m.
