WHEREAS, the City of Riverside administrator; /~~ ORDNANCE NO. ~ ~ ~~ CONFIR.tiIING AND RATIFYING THE 1~LE1V'I' WITH A~xN DANIEI,S A5 CITY ("City") enacted an ordinance providing for a city WHEREAS, by letter dated August 17, 199 ("Agreement") a copy of which is attached as Exhibit A, the City offered Ann Daniels ("Daniels") the position of city administrator; W'I~.REAS, in September 1995, Daniels became the Ciry's rust city administrator; WHIr.REAS, the City desires to approve, cortfum and ratify the Agreement; BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BO.<~.RD OF ALDERMEN FOR THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, iVIISSOURi AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The engagement of Daniels pursuant to the following terms, the execution and delivery of the Agreement, the performance of City obligations under the Ae Bement and the executions and delivery of all documents and the performance of all actions related thereto are hereby approved, ratified and confu~netl: * Admutistrative Position - no paid overtime. ^` Starting Salary 55,000 per year (has since been increased pursuant to ordinance, aIl of which shall remain in affect). * Monthly car allowance - $100 per month to offset normal travel associated with the administrator's position. Non-routine trips, i.e. to Jefferson City on City business, will be reimbursed according to the City's Personnel Policies. * Professional conference expenses not to exceed $3,000 per year (included are Missouri City Management Association annual meeting and fall meeting, Missouri. Municipal Lzague annual meeting, International City )Management Association annual meeting). Paid vacation and other personnel benefits in accordance with the Personnel Policies of the City. * Ciry provided health insurance coverage for you -dependents at your expense. * Participation in the City''s Deferred Compensation Plan. * In the event you are terminated without cause, severance pay equal to three month's aggregate salary will be paid by the City. No severance pay shall be paid upon voluntary resicnation. SECTiQN ?. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
